    It has a year warranty, use it then when it cracks send it back and get another one. When they are young you need to size up every year or two any way, which should be just about the time the replacement bat is broken.

    We work on mechanics every time we pitch. However I have always been in the camp of throw with the intent of throwing hard. She does throw hard for her age, I do however believe it is as much genetics as it is practice. I have never nor will I ever tell her to slow down and throw strikes.

    With the way the rule is written now there will be no such thing as an illegal pitch, at least not called an illegal pitch.
