Just acknowledge you missed the call. A simple raise of the hand, or a nod of the head can calm the parents and the coaches (unless it was a game-altering call, then oh boy, haha). How exactly does committing/signing work
My 2024 has a "verbal commitment" to play for a Pac-12 college. During her "official visit", she did go through the admissions process to make sure she was academically eligible, but won't officially be registered until she signs in November of her Senior Year. Recruiting - how much does coach watch you play?
Coches are at a showcase or touniment to watch other players, so they split the time up. A couple of innings for this player, a couple for the player who may be playing on the other side of the snack bar. But I have seen college coaches watch entire games, knowing they were there to watch...- KenBlackfish

My daughter has both Twitter and Instagram accounts specifically for softball. About 25 coaches follow her on Twitter, maybe more, and maybe five max on Instagram. I think it's because Twitter is more geared toward adults, and Instagram is more geared toward teens and 20's. I "manage" her...- KenBlackfish

Interference? Internet umpires whats your call?
I see a very lazy runner who hit a bomb, and an average catcher who doesn't control the infield. I see piss poor sportsmanship by the runner sliding into home and trying to knock the ball loose. And yes these are coaches who coached young men, At the college level, you had/have a choice if you wanted to play under that style of coaching. I am not advocating this as a way to coach children.
