I would be very careful on the strategy you use to achieve this. Alot of really bad cues/drills that can really mess up a good pitchers foundation by trying to achieve something that is a result of other things by trying to make it “the thing”. Just my 2 cents and more worth :)
Agreed - more than 15mph gets consistently crushed at A level travel. Too much time to reload and fire the barrel on it. Those flip changes look cool but can get roasted. DD runs about 12 slower and throws a double knuckle that runs away from a righty and drops. Even when they know it’s coming...
DD is the same way....always 2-3 mph faster in games than any other time. And that’s usually in the later innings too. Been that way since 8u. Something about the adrenaline and competitiveness that blocks out the concentration on mechanics or doing things a certain way. Based on observations I...
Oakley Half Jacket XL Prizm. DD bought her own custom when she was 13. Absolutely loves them. Takes care of them like they are gold. Could not recommend them enough after trying them myself. The depth perception difference off dirt, turf and grass is so much better than any other lens I have...
The longer the stride the harder it is to rotate the hips. Also that then can cause connection issues. If you notice the end of her swing, before contact, she essentially makes up the difference by pushing the hands to the ball and loses alot of power. I think if she gets 6 inches shorter it...
I’m scared and I am behind a computer screen! Seriously though...60 at 40’ is nothing more than click click. Takes alot of luck to really square it up when its got some decent movement. That 43’ is a deal breaker for alot of these girls. It makes the good ones even better with 3 more feet of...
Certainly not a dime a dozen but we played alot of 12u national teams last summer and I personally clocked over a dozen in the 58-62 range with a pocket radar. But...these are national A level teams playing the top competition from all over the country. The best of the best. Didn’t see anything...
