I second this. I have a 2025 grad and it's go time for us. So I am looking for all the insights I can get.
Hi!! Thank you for asking
She is going to West Texas A&M and wants to be a physical therapist. The recruiting process has been pretty smooth. The coaching staff there are amazing and she knows several of the girls and has had the opportunities to get to know them. All the girls are top notch kids and are super supportive of each other!! We live super close and I'm so thankful for that (will get to go to all the home games!!) She has wanted to play there since she was a little girl and her brother graduated from there a couple of years ago as well. We have truly been blessed!!
T already knew where she wanted to go to school so she attended all of their camps and got to know the players that worked the camp and the coaches. When you go to these camps, it's so important to always go all out and have fun!! Players always perform better when they're having fun. Don't be shy and get to know the other girls that are there for the camp. Email coaches and always answer the emails they send you back. Even if you can't attend an event, just let them know you have a prior commitment. I really don't have all the answers because everyone's journey is different, but over the last 14 years I have learned that you really have to love it to stick with it this long and if you love it, play it like you love it and play like it's the last game you'll ever play. Go all out every time, make the big play or try to, be a good team mate, be a good role model to the youngers and smile!! This is supposed to be fun

With that title I am going to guess you are from the Northeast..
LOL!!! Not even the northeast part of my town!!! hahaha
One of DD's 16U former Coaches played at West Tx A&M under Blaskowski. She coaches at a rival HS.
Who is it?? Is it Shayne S?? There are quite a few girls we know who played for him. Ts old hitting/pitching coach played for him. He was a good coach.
