thanks! I understand what you are saying but i was/am more concerned with where the hands and barrel are before launch vs what is driving the swing. she also does look to 'un-tip' or plane the barrel before launch. Moreso in the first gif. maybe a different pitch in the second required her free hands to act earlier.
The 2nd she didn’t have to because the pitch was lower

Do you think TTB doesn’t involve the barrel working down?
Curious why you are asking me this … but I will answer anyway. The barrel turns to wherever the pitch located, if the pitch is high the barrel will be turned to that location on a flatter plane, If the pitch is low the barrel will be turned down towards it.

Do you think the aggressive hip turn and straightening of the lead legs adds to her power? She takes a good rip at the ball. I like it.

I wouldn't say aggressive hip turn..

This was the thought.. Allow the legs to anchor the middle turning including the facia.

All barrels are turned during the swing with no thought of it.

Forced barrel turn came about by HLP's 2 engine movement pattern.

Before I answer any of this... please provide your definition on TTB.
Mattingly's logo barrel path, not the live barrel path he teaches...

Also, even though TDS uses this as an example of "down to"....

....I like how his initial barrel path is first rearward via external rotation of the top hand, and he's not yanking the knob "down" or forward with his bottom hand, or "punching" the top hand forward over his rear shoulder.

This is also not my idea of TTB...

...no forced pronation/supination of the forearms to launch or torque the barrel backwards as your first move.

I think this is where a lot of arguments end up, with the definition of turn.

1. We’ve already come to consensus that this is the idea path
2. He doesn’t have his bottom hand on the bat, so we really can’t comment on it
3. Thanks, but you are telling me what it isn’t, instead of what it is
