Sometimes facial expressions and body language get interpreted in different ways.
Quitely....

If this is going in the direction of describing cheering vs taunting.
Keep it about your own team.
and
Grow some backbone its a competition.

Seriously asking
Any over the top negative comments flying around at other teams???
Or this is just about
Happy enthusiasm?!!!
...that a few may not care for.

Vote for loud happy!

Why are the men so over the top hyped up over a simple touchdown, EVERY single touchdown they show the player in the end zone SCREAMING let’s go!!!, stomping their feet, slamming down their arms etc etc. what ever happened to acting like you’ve done that and been there before. I understand if it’s a game winning touchdown but down 7-0 and getting a touchdown and here comes the over the top hype.

There, I fixed it for you.
Yeah scoring a TD and getting a single are the same. I’m thinking 10-20 singles in a game vs a handful of tds. Lol sorry that point is a total fail.

If you want to add some excitement to golf, pull some strings and get me on the PGA. I guarantee I will provide excitement. Things like, how did he get himself into that situation and holy cow, how did he hit that ball. You would not believe the lengths I can go to make a round of golf "fun."

Before I had my hip replaced and had to take off a couple of years, I was a 4 handicap. Now, I have to yell fore.
And Johnny Miller's favorite line, "wow.....he hit that left of left!"

I was a 6 handicap when I married my wife 21 years ago, well I've started playing again now that I'm out of TB, bottom line is I got really old in that time span, all the little things I used to do that just came naturally.....well they don't anymore! I can still bust it, I just can't put the ball in the hole!?!? That's why Phil's PGA win was so impressive to me!

Here is a question for folks here...kinda curious about this.

Ok, its ok the stand on first screaming, yelling jumping up and down after a hit. Would it be ok for the pitcher
to scream and yell or jump up and down after a strikeout of a batter or for the defensive team to scream and yell
after a strikeout?

Whats peoples thoughts on that?
Excellent point. It’s trolling disguised as hype but all these daddies out there can’t see it.

Success in softball is very dependent on emotion. The happier girls are the better they play. A close knit selfless team plays better than a bunch of talented individuals. The enthusiasm demonstrated on the field after a hit is intended to create the energy/emotion for more success from the team. It is one of the great things about softball!
If that’s truly the case then that’s pretty sad and a disrespect to women, we can’t do good unless we are pumped up…vomit!

If I accept the adage that boys have to win to be happy and girls have to be happy to win, I would ask who is better off? I would go with the girls and a focus on the team. Hardly a weakness.

So after reading through all the comments it breaks down like this. If you have a daughter that plays softball there is no wrong in anything they do they could get a hit scream pick the base up throw it into the stands kick dirt do a backflip on the base whatever they want it doesn’t matter because it’s all covered by being enthusiastic. If you’re a casual fan we just think, ok that must be her first hit of her entire career to show that much emotion.
I had kids play travel ball and would never have accepted that in your face disrespectful level of emotion but parents today always back their kids over authority etc. I have some friends who teach school and no matter how disrespectful the kids are at school if they write them up and send a note home to the parents the parents always calls in and defend them they never have a parent say you’re right I’m going to talk to him about that and get it corrected. Same goes for softball and all these dad’s that are so invested in the game apparently.

If that's what you took from that statement, then I feel you need to re-read that. It obviously wasn't a knock against women. We are talking about creating energy as a team. What team doesn't do better when they are hyped and full of energy.
