My wife ordered me a custom Vinci catcher's glove on Black Friday. The Vinci site said to order by Dec 1 to get it in time for Christmas. Around December 18, they wrote my wife saying the glove would not be done in time. So they sent out a catcher's glove they had in stock to us so I would have something to open on Christmas morning. When the custom gloves gets finished, I get to keep both. Now that is going waaaay beyond what a company has to do.

Now for the sad part. The free glove they sent me has been sitting at the post office for 10 days now. So I only received a picture of a glove on Christmas morning. But this is one where it definitely is the thought that counts.

Good to hear; always nice to hear about small companies taking care of their customers. My first experience with Vinci has been a little different, but I'm not sure where the fault lies.

Ordered my daughter a custom glove in early November. It was marked as shipped within a week, but without a tracking number. I waited about two weeks and emailed asking if it had indeed shipped; it hadn't--some kind of error.

I double checked at the beginning of December to make sure it would arrive by Christmas; we were ensured that it would. And in fact, we got a tracking number on 12/19. However 9 days later, the glove still says waiting for pick up.

This is a crazy year all around, so I'm not going to let this color my overall view of the company, especially with the issues at USPS. While my daughter was disappointed, Vinci was always very quick to respond. We are excited to see the finished product!

Very cool on their part! Man the USPS has been sucking!
Pretty sums up our local USPS. In the past two years, the mail carriers have been very careless. I am constantly getting my neighbors mail and my neighbors are getting my mail. I even laminated and stapled my address above my mail box as a reminder. Most of the time they have air pods in their ears listening to music or talking to someone on their phone. I have made several attempts to engage in friendly conversation, but they just ignore me and keep walking. I might need to put some snacks on the porch to entice better service.

The USPS has been doing one thing for 200+ years. And they’ve done it very well.

So please think critically about why their service might be suffering at the present time. And then be patient.

My DDs Christmas A2000 didn’t show up either.

I had same experience with Vinci. If they make a mistake or over promise and under deliver they will make it right.
I would suggest to anyone considering Vinci products to deal directly with Pete at VinciPro.com and skip the middle man on sites like these.

I can tell you exactly why the USPS service is horrible. When they quit giving preference to veterans and starting hiring warm bodies their service when to hell, and it has everywhere in the US.
