Mercy Rule at a Showcase?

my point is:

the showcase games are timed (1:10 drop dead). That's a really short game to begin with. What's the harm in playing it out?
if the winning team has some class, coach will get his #3 pitcher in there and let some girls play their secondary positions on defense.

and I've never attended a "showcase" where a team was scheduled to play more than three games in a day.
now, if the format is showcase pool games that flow into elimination games later in the weekend, then yeah, keep the mercy rule in effect.

Depends on the situation. If college coaches are watching to see a specific player or players then finish it if needed.
My dd pitched in one and faced the same batter 3 times in a row so coaches could watch the girl hit.
