OP,

The barrel/hands must be maneuvered above the ball as well as the barrel behind the hands all the way until the barrel is released into contact. Any other maneuvering is inefficient.

Or.............. down to with the knob to the ball. Either cue works. 😌

1 TM didn't invent hitting or the concept of hitting th ball deep

IMO FOCUS on SNAPPING rearward leads to a lot of problems. Dumping and a long uppercut swing.

I do feel TM has a lot right but his tilt that's forced I believe is terrible.

I also don't feel like he has what the hands really do figured out quite accurately either.

If you snap the bat rearward and laser up the ball 6 to 12. You never ,ever get the barrel turned. Now I'm only going by what he says. He may mean something different. If that's the case he should clarify his meanings.

He does speak on turning the barrel, that's where the rub is. You can't snap it and call that turning it. I have said it time and time again. The hands perform a blended move that takes you into and then out of the ferris wheel pattern and then into the merri go round!
