I'm the biggest fan of Bradley gloves that you'll find but I don't think it is an appropriate recommendation for 6-8 year old rec players. I'd seriously look at steering the parents towards #7sDad and fuzzy2651's suggestion of Mizuno at that age. Both of my kids had a lot of success with their gloves in that price range, until they started playing above the rec level. They are very easy to close, leather, and fit their hands well.

What wrong with the ignighter for a young girl?

I'm also a big fan of Bradley gloves. Real leather, will form a great pocket, and finger stalls are sized perfectly for the age range listed. Price is the draw back. The Ignitor series are $100. They will last multiple seasons easily though. I good glove will do wonders for a kids confidence. If they think the kid will probably stay with it for a few seasons the Bradley is a better deal.
