I'd think it would be a personal call. Even though it makes me feel a bit "icky," I don't see a real problem with paying your kids to play or hit incentives. My family doesn't work that way, so it's not an issue for me. I enjoy it when some parent promises to pay for a home run, and I've seen the girls enjoy it too, so I see how I could fall on both sides of this depending on situation.
