Is the front side locking on the target/pitcher a good thing? Just watched an old video and they were talking about front side lock "during" the stride/loading.
Is that just another way of saying staying "closed"? I think for some hitters who tend to actively rotate or lose their coil too early that might be a good internal queue. I know that between my freshmen and soph. years in college a queue of trying to land with a closed front foot ( I don't think I actually did do that but it was just something I used to think about) and driving my front shoulder towards the pitcher as I strode out helped me some.Is the front side locking on the target/pitcher a good thing? Would you say this is a good example of locking in the front side?
That would be a good example of unlocking the front side and allowing ball to come in to his kitchen. Time to eat!Would you say this is a good example of locking in the front side?
