Yet another video of where there is to much counter rotation off the tee and just right off of front toss.

What are everyone's thoughts on the weight shift? Is it a separate action of the load?

Thanks guys

What are we working on?

Not spinning, not pushing, and releasing the barrel (oily swivel). Oh yeah releasing or letting the right elbow work out and away (thanks Eric) especially on outside pitches so she isn't sawing across the ball. Driving the ball oppo.

" Load the posterior. Not the anterior. "
W=W, If you could explain this it would be appreciated.

Basically loading the backside glute more then the front side quad. When you are anterior dominant, the frontside(pitcher side) is forced to be used more which will leak power, create less swing depth and inhibit bat path(long through). There is a JD Martinez gif that shows his toes up in the air during his load. This would be posterior being loading.

You will see with most pros, the back heel will evert.

Is it me, or does it look like the bats too long? Could be the elbow getting pinned as Eric mentioned - but it's seems like she knows she's too close to the tee, so she has to pull her arms in (across?) in order to not jam herself.

W=W - would loading the posterior come from pushing down through the rear heel, vs. the inside of the back foot?

The theory is using the posterior(heel) activates the glutes and hammys. Strongest muscles in the legs. Staying connected to the ground helps solidify the kinetic chain by maintaining the energy created.

Using the anterior side of the foot. Creates quad dominance. Which activates the frontside/upper body to swing and less legs. Losing depth and direction.

As far as the middle inside of the foot. That seems to create a more ABAF loading mechanism(catcher pitcher) IME anyway. Just trying it out in my living room.

Loading the posterior is a bit more stable and balanced as well as kinetically correct. IME.

JD talks about his heel briefly :50 mark:
