Hey lancer, as far as buying / having a lacing needle, never hurts to always have one available along with several pieces of 3/16 & 1/4 lace, usually in just black & tan, that’ll cover most repair situations at tournaments.

Since her gloves wrist lap is already in it’s tightest setting, before you change anything, does she wear her glove two-in-the-pinky (TIP)?

Being an outfielder, wearing a glove TIP with her index finger inside the glove is the best method for several reasons.

First she can control her new / stiff glove better than wearing it traditional, it increases her hand strength to close her glove!

TIP increases the gloves pocket size, and keeping her index finger inside could keep her from breaking it in case she dives for a ball, slides, and rolls her hand over on the ground where it could grab her finger.

Trap web & TIP just go together perfectly, it’s she’s not wearing it that way, you should probably consider changing her now, I promise it’ll pay off and you may not need to re-lace the wrist.

lancer, looking at that last pic of the palm side and heel, I assume that's your hand? This glove looks to have a fairly large "U" shaped heel, look at where your pinky is in relation to the two palm lace runs where the pinky side break would be, what's that, an inch+, possibly close to two inches?

TIP would fill that area in the pinky side of the glove because of the angle of her hand inside the wrist opening, wearing this glove traditional, there would be a lot of excess pinky side of the glove just not being used if that makes any sense??

This glove looks made to be used TIP!
