What’s the point in replicating speed when you can’t apply sequence? Your dd’s swing looks rushed because she don’t know when the ball is being delivered.. it just forms bad habits and lowers confidence
Show me a pitching machine and I’ll show you a bunch hitters with bad sequence leading to rushed swings. The problem is the hitter doesn’t know when the ball is being released unless the coach has setup some kind of indicator. I hate pitching machines, especially for young hitters, it disrupts...
I always thought the term Ferris wheel was very misleading ... if the pitch is low at the ankles the path will look more like a Ferris wheel, if up around around the shoulders, a merry-go-round... how else would the barrel get behind and stay through the ball?
HRs from the strike out king...

You don’t think a career BA hovering around .300 (higher than Vladdy), 30 HRs, 100 RBIs per year, top 10 in hits each...
You are grasping at straws here W and that’s ok, you don’t watch this team like I do. Hitting hard ground balls is not the objective IMO … hitting the ball hard is, but if you are constantly beating the ball into the ground, your swing can be improved and this is what Vladdy has been doing...
Yeah, Bo swings out of his shoes every AB. He’s also very aggressive, swings at everything. If he were more disciplined SOs will go down. Bo also wears down pitchers, long at bats, making a lot of contact, fouling really nasty pitches off, he’s frustrating to pitch against.
Anyway this wasn’t...
Thanks, this is a good video...
I like to look at Bo Bichette and Vladdy when thinking about HLP. Both young hitters, hit for power and avg to all fields, came up through the same org and roughly the same age. However IMO, In general I believe Bo follows the AJ template more than Vladdy. Bo...
