All those older Easton took a whoopin and kept going. Anybody looking for a BP bat, I tell them to find
an old Easton.
That was also the demise of the tanks...because nobody wanted to have to break bats in anymore. It was
always..."i need hot out of the wrapper". Nobody wanted the Makos or Torqs
They have had them for a while. I was speaking when they came back to life a few years ago (Mizuno that is). They couldnt go after
the big names. Sadly, dont be surprised if Texas keeps doing well, another brand sneaks in...hahaha
Mizuno went thru many years of advertising badly and doing things completely wrong to try and beat
other brands fast and it literally ruined their name for years in the bat market. Not until when they released their
current named lineup a few years ago and the way they are going about...
Every bat manufacturer tells you 60 degrees...but I dont stick by that. Thats like a car insurance company telling you never go above
35 mph, never drive at night, and never go on roads with other cars. of course they never want you using under 60 to try and
curb some returns...haha.
What I do tell people is to kinda loosen the composite up first. Take a bunch of light swings and then like half swings.
Use regular balls, no dimple or whatever else.
Always cracks me up people posting that pic. I love Mizunos bats, but has nothing to with anything. The girls leading
college in homers, would do so with any bat...doesnt matter. And the College doesnt care what bat manufacturer it is, as long as
it the best deal for the college. The kids will...
A batter wearing yellow batting gloves is completely diff than a pitcher wearing a yellow fielding glove. There is really no
distraction for anybody if a batter wears certain color gloves.
