I have never understood the overly loud music before games. No one should have to yell. When did your pitchers increase velocity?
From what I've seen and a lot of video, by 11th grade or so, most average pitchers with average genetics, average mechanics, and no whip, will peak in the mid 50's. Ones who started pitching late, such as my daughter, may not peak for another year. She's a sophomore and been at it for 4 years...- PJR202

If that's your price range, look into the mizuno supreme series. Or if you can go a bit more, look at the mvp prime. They're sold a dick's sporting goods. I constantly see people recommending running players through stations. Some tee work here, some popups, some grounders, etc. I hate stations. Any time you get girls standing in any kind of line without 100% direct supervision, they'll goof off. Leave them alone and they'll goof off and whoever...- PJR202

Sorry ... the WORST game I have ever seen. EVER.
Some of these awful teams actually have good, knowledgeable coaches. There just isn't enough time to get kids up to speed in 6 weeks. Rec is everything to a program. They are absolute turds. The surface breaks really easily if they hit a wall or something They get super slick and I swear the shrink a little. And they go dead really fast. They're like one step above one of the Dick's branded practice balls.- PJR202

Are New Balls Slick?
As far as I'm concerned, there is no other ball than the Dudley. Grippy and never go slick, perfect seams, durable, seemingly waterproof, and hardly lose any pop over time. We have Thunder Heats in the practice bucket that have been getting beat on for at least three years and are still better...- PJR202

Comfortable Turfs
I think the ones I wore when I coached are NB 3000. I think I paid like 90 for them. Hard as rocks from day 1. Now I just use them for yard work, but I can't deal with them for too long. If I was gonna buy turfs again I would probably look into something more expensive, even if it's NB again.- PJR202

It's crazy. There's one girl in particular who literally went 6 for 67 last year with 36 strikeouts, showed up to like two offseason practices, and now is sitting at .421.
