    Exactly how to get power to opposite field

    Can’t hit oppo with a down and across path. Got to work from the inside and slightly up. Down and across have to be out front hitters to have success. Can’t let the ball travel deep enough to barrel it oppo. It’s hitting mechnaics 💯

    Thanks! I believe the rear leg scissors mostly on pitches away due to the rear leg not turning as much due to pitch location. Not as much scissoring on pitches inside due to the rear leg turning more. Either way glad it helped your dd

    I had to use the stills to figure out why she was struggling. Went back to check some video of her when she was smoking it consistently. The side by side comparison made it easier to go hit with DD. I try to leave her alone during school ball if all is well but old patterns will creep in quickly.

    In the black/white pic the knob is working up at belly button which results in a path that is slightly up through the ball. Knob is still facing the ball in the red/white pic which indicates a flatter path at contact. Sliglhty up results in good extension. Flat to level results in bat swinging...
